The Youth Movement with a New Agenda
Conservative Future (CF) is the youth branch of the Conservative Party. If you are under 30 you will automatically become a member of CF when you join the Party, ensuring you get to meet other people of the same age.
Joining CF will be a good start if you want to become more actively involved in politics. CF offers you regular chances to hear members of the shadow Cabinet speak, and there are subsidised social events that have, in the past, included hiring West end clubs, drinks receptions at embassies and meetings in the Palace of Westminster.

Setting the record straight on tuition fees
Over the past few weeks, a lot of myths have been put around about our proposals to reform tuition fees. It is time to deal with a lot of the misconceptions about these changes head on.
These proposals are fair. No one pays for their degree up front - parents don't pay and students don't start paying anything back until after they graduate. On top of this, no one will pay a penny back until they are earning at least £21,000. This means everyone will pay back less per month and that the bottom 20% of earners will pay back less in total than they currently do.

How then can we explain massive turnouts of young people at various protests? More and more young people are opting to support single issue campaigns instead of political parties. Of those, even more hold pre-conceived ideas about political parties and are reluctant to change their views. Why? Well…young people today are a cynical bunch when it comes to political parties, and allow me to explain why.
